REFLECT partner Serhat Tonkul, from the İzmir Institute of Technology, has been awarded a gold medal by the Chamber of Geological Engineers for his article ‘Characterisation of Sb scaling and fluids in saline geothermal power plants: A case study for Germencik Region (Büyük Menderes Graben, Turkey)’.
Within the framework of the REFLECT project, the article was published in the Geothermics Journal in November 2021 and, it is available here. Serhat Tonkul received the award during the 74th Turkish Geological Congress in Ankara.
