EFG EuroWorkshop 2022: Natural Hazards, Geothermal & Geological Heritage: Expressions of Geodiversity
The Portuguese Association of Geologists (APG) and the European Federation of Geologists (EFG) are co-organising the EFG EuroWorkshop 2022 ‘Natural Hazards, Geothermal and Geological Heritage: Expressions of Geodiversity‘ in the Azores Archipelago, Portugal. The event has also the support of the Platform for Atlantic Geohazard Risk Management (AGEO), the Geopark Azores and the REFLECT and CROWDTHERMAL EU-funded projects.
This unique professional training opportunity will take place on 19-20 and 23-25 May 2022.
The field trips offered during the EuroWorkshop are the following:
- Geodiversity and Geothermal Resources in Terceira Island (pre-conference field trip)
- Geological Wonders and Hazards of Pico Island
- Discovering the Mount Pico: The Sleeping Volcano
